Dear {{{FIRST_NAME|Friend}}},
As some of you may know, I just returned from a two-week trip to my dream destination… Alaska!
This trip had been highly anticipated—and specifically manifested.
(Psst… if you want to go on your dream trip, create a sigil for your destination of choice and burn it facing the cardinal direction of where you want to go.)
To stack the deck in my favor, I also took out a little (magickal) travel insurance and cast a safe travel spell before we left.
And if I’m going to be honest, it seemed to work. The travel gods smiled on us and delivered some of the best spring weather Alaska had seen in years.
We saw incredible places, had incredible experiences, and everything was going smoothly…
Until I found a bed bug crawling across my pillow. (BLECH!)
But the worst part wasn’t the bed bug. The worst part was that I had ignored my intuition about the entire thing—not once, not twice, but three separate times.
Instance #1: Months before the trip, I remember looking up our pre-booked Anchorage hotel and immediately feeling weird about it. My gut reaction was: Hmmm…something’s not right about that place.
Instance #2: On the bus to the hotel, I randomly thought about my friend who once found bed bugs in her Airbnb. How did she end up dealing with that? I wondered.
Instance #3: After checking into the room, I did my usual bed bug inspection. (‘Cause I’m gonna lie..this has been a BIG fear of mine.) I didn’t find anything, but I still turned to my husband and said: If any place was going to have bed bugs, this would be it.
As it turned out, the entire time, some part of me knew.
I just didn’t pay attention.
That’s because intuition isn’t flashy. It’s not loud or glaringly obvious. It’s quiet. Neutral. Subtle and yet clear. And easy to ignore.
In the end, I actually believe my safe travel spell still worked.
Because, ultimately, I saw the bed bug.
We caught it immediately, were upgraded to a (bed-bug-free) suite, and had time to take all the necessary precautions to make sure no creepy-crawlies traveled home with us.
And it reminded me of something important. Intuition isn’t just about preventing the bad thing.
Sometimes it’s about noticing the thing. Paying attention before a small problem becomes a much bigger one.
It’s for this exact reason that I’m so passionate about intuition coaching.
Most people think trusting yourself, connecting with your guides, or listening to your truth is always going to be super obvious — like a big blinking sign on the side of the highway.
But just like intuition, it’s usually quiet.
It shows up as a passing thought, a funny feeling, an energy you can’t quite explain. And learning to trust yourself isn’t something that happens overnight.
It takes time to recognize your inner voice... and courage to finally listen to it.
So I’ll leave you with this:
What message has been quietly showing up for you lately?
And have you been listening… or brushing it aside?
If you’d like a little support in decoding your intuitive language, I’d love to invite you to explore Reclaim Your Intuition: Connect to Your Clairs and Build Your Spirit Team.

It can be completed in your own space, at your own pace, and it lasts a lifetime.
With Love (and NO bed bugs),
